Palau Güell has a specialised service to attend to people with specific needs which can help you with anything related to your visit. 


  • Sign language video guides 

    In Catalan sign language (LSC) and Spanish sign language (LSE).


  • Audio guides with audio commentary for the blind and partially sighted  

    In Catalan and in Spanish.

  • Audio guides subtitled for non-signing deaf and hearing impaired people

    In Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Italian, German and Portuguese.

    Palau Güell also offers the transcription of the audio guide text on paper in a number of languages. Transcriptions are available at the front desk.


  • Group guide system

    Palau Güell offers groups a guide system to provide better reception for deaf and hearing impaired visitors.


  • Partially adapted tour for people with reduced mobility 

    A tour has been partially adapted for people with reduced mobility and wheelchair users, which enables them to visit all areas of the Palau except the roof, the mezzanine and the southern terrace. This tour is taken by means of a small lift.

    Members of Palau Güell staff are on hand to accompany these visitors.

  • Wheelchairs

    Palau Güell runs a wheelchair loan service with chairs adapted to the size of the lift, (door width: 60 cm; interior: 78 cm wide).

    Visitors whose wheelchairs exceed these measurements should change to a chair from our loan services. Special visitor services staff are available to help you change wheelchairs and on the tour.

    Should you require one of our chairs, please ask at the welcome service.

  • Sound amplification system

    Palau Güell has induction loops adapted to the audio guides for visitors with cochlear implants and for the group guide systems.

  • Maps in relief

    For the blind and partially sighted, Palau Güell has five maps in relief with legends in Braille.

    Please ask at the front desk.

  • Magnifying glasses

    The partially sighted may borrow magnifying glasses from the front desk (n ID card or document is asked as a deposit).


  • Assistance dogs 

    Assistance dogs (guide dogs for the blind, service dogs and signal dogs) are welcome in Palau Güell.

    Bowls of water are available on the ground floor.

  • Other services 

    Palau Güell staff are on hand to accompany visitors who require it.

    There is a lift for the exclusive use of people with reduced mobility or special requirements.

    Baby changing station and adapted WC on the ground floor.

    Baby carrier loan service.

    Rest areas can be found throughout the tour.
