Once again, Palau Güell is celebrating Nights at Palau Güell, an event that has become one of the most special and unique ways to spend a summer evening in Barcelona. Held on then 4th July , 11th, 18th and 25th and the 1st, 8th and 22nd of August, it takes place on the Palau's magical, inimitable roof terrace where the architect, Antoní Gaudí, used chimneys as architectural sculptures for the very first time.

Each evening there will be a concert by a group with a different style. Depending on the date, you can enjoy the wonderful classical jazz of Lester Young, Ben Webster and Billie Holiday, as well as more modern music such as doo wop or Jamaican jazz.

Before the concert, visitors can pay a brief visit to the most important places in the town house commissioned by the industrialist, Eusebi Güell, and designed by his friend, Antoni Gaudí. The building, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1984, is truly remarkable for the innovative way in which Gaudí made use of both space and light, as well as the superb quality of its noble materials and the decorative and ornamental work carried out by the brilliant craftsmen who collaborated with the architect.

Once on the roof terrace, visitors can admire one of Palau Güell's most incredible places, as well as spectacular view of the city, a view that, in Güell's lifetime, was only enjoyed by the servants when they hung out the washing, except when the Güell family wanted to show it to their guests. This wonderful panorama can be admired from a fantastical setting with a central spire surrounded by 20  chimneys, some of them faced with colourful broken tiles in the "trencadís" technique. At the end of the evening, visitors will also be offered appetisers accompanied by a glass of cava.
