Ramon Tusquets i Maignon

Ramon Tusquets i Maignon (Barcelona, 1838 – Roma, 1904). Painter.

He lived in Rome for a while, where he became friends with Marià Fortuny, and was influenced by him to a certain extent.

He painted luminous landscapes, historical subjects and portraits that reflected the Impressionist style of the times and an anecdotic realism.

In Güell Palace there is a mirror decorated with a flower pattern painted by Ramon Tusquets in 1888.
