The rear facade
The rear facade of Palau Güell, which looks onto the block's inner courtyard, features a bay window with folding shutters. The lower part of this bay window is tiled.
Above the bay window is the balcony of the parents' bedrooms, covered by an unusual brise-soleil or sun baffle.
Built of punched Garraf limestone, the rear facade is divided into two levels, differentiated by a stone ledge.
